This project involved the complete refurbishment and extension of an historic landmark hotel building in Glenties, Co. Donegal on behalf of Wild Atlantic Hospitality Limited.
Brannigan Associates designed and managed the entire project and provided services including:
- Architectural design
- Interior design
- Specification
- Contract administration
- Assigned Certifier
- Fire Safety Audit and Fire Safety Certificate applications
- Disability Access Certificate applications
- Planning consultancy
- Planning Supervisor Design Process
The works were carried out over a two year period and completed in the summer of 2018. The hotel remained fully operational throughout.
The design ethos was to refurbish the hotel to an excellent standard providing modern facility and amenity whilst preserving the historic ambience and tradition of this well known hotel.
The refurbishment works included the exterior and most of the interior space including reception, lounge bar, coffee lounge, toilets, 30 guest bedrooms, kitchens and function rooms.
